Founded by visual storytelling enthusiasts

Darzuno originated as a designer's jotting in sketches on edge of our sketch books. Over time, the jotting evolved into an organized principle, with examples. And today, we offer them as a course utilizing the same reference point — moving from hand-drawn sketch to final layout.

Help discover creativity in design

We assist designers in going from theory to practice through clarity. Every course is designed so that the learner can use the idea on their own project as the next immediate step. We aim to make the process of visual creation accessible and replicable for all.

Answers to common questions

Can courses be accessed on multiple devices?

Yes, all the materials are stored in accessible formats for most devices, such as tablets, laptops or desktop computers. It is important to have a PDF reader and graphic file editor, each of which will only need to be downloaded once, before the user can work offline.

How often are course materials updated?

We review our courses on a quarterly basis; this means that we add new examples and revise explanations based on feedback.

Will there be support while working through the materials?

Yes! We will respond to questions regarding course content via email. You will just need to describe the stage at which you encountered difficulty, and we will send you clarification or an additional example, within one business day.

How is the structure of each course laid out?

Each course is organized into modules, which contain clear topics for learning. Each module contains a theoretical block, with diagrams/graphics, a set of tasks, with hints that are offered step-by-step and finally, a checklist at the end to self-assess learning. All of the these are organized into one file, while still being easy to navigate.
